each piece of mine is designed to be both beautiful and functional. My ceramic pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe, but it’s important to remember that thermal shock can happen with any ceramic, so always be mindful of the temperature changes when using my pieces. if using a mug or cup for a VERY hot beverage, I suggest swirling warm water in the piece first to allow the ceramic a gradual temperature increase. do I always follow this rule? no. but *you* should practice it when you can!
